CAD Standards and Restrictions
Restrictions
CNC can cut 24"x48". Parts should not be larger than that unless discussed with a design mentor.
All bent parts shall be made from 0.062 thick aluminum and designed using Fusion sheet metal. Ask for help if you have not used sheet metal in Fusion.

Hole Placement
All holes should be 1.5 diameters, minimum from an edge. Holes can be further than this distance. This helps the fasteners to not tear out of the edge of the material.
0.190" Hole Example: 1.5 x 0.190" = 0.285” to center of sketch circle
0.255" Hole Example: 1.5 x 0.255" = 0.3825” to center of sketch circle
Exceptions to this can be made through discussion with Design Mentors.
